Blind Public Transportation

There is wind yet there are no windows, the smell of humidity in a closed area is not something to enjoy. Is like smelling the color gray, unexpected.

As i ran down the stairs i get warmer, it doesn't smell good, but the wind is raging outside and my clothes are not as warm as i wished, i wear this deep blue jacket, it reminds me of the ocean and the end of the daylight when it starts blending with the darkness of the night in the most amazing shades that the islands usually show when the sunset starts to happen.

There is an old man, his skin seems to be rugged like a peach when is left in the sun for weeks and starts getting dry it also has spots like a banana after 4 days, he woke up when i sat in the bench next to him, he asked for coins with this white plastic bucket that he kept extending to the columns that were holding the ceiling and the ground apart, i wondered why.

Minutes later as i kept wondering about the world, the train came in, finally! and i stood up happily from my bench thinking "i'll be home soon" there were lots of people coming out of the wagon, i've always been good at dodging passers and this day was no different, went in and sat in the seat that was just next to the entrance, minutes later somebody came and sat over me, at that moment i just saw in surprise how my thighs turned into fog and how i just vanished slowly and reappeared in the middle of the wagon, and here i was thinking that i was good at dodging passers after all those years taking public transportation.
